The Steelers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Jimmy Horn Jr. in the Round 7 slot. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Burke pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
