The Cowboys did not so much draft Jacob Rodriguez as overpay for him, 27 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That Moore pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
