A masterclass at the trade table lands the Cowboys a B. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Cowboys were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The bottom line is a respectable B.
Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The D'Andre Swift deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick22
Rnd1
Matayo Uiagalelei
In slot 22 they get a bendy edge with upside at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick25
Rnd1
Christen Miller
Christen Miller in pick No. 25 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A need, and now a little less of one.
