Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Dolphins spent pick 75 on Mikail Kamara, a name the board had a full 35 spots lower. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

Whatever Fernando Mendoza becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Getting Reese where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
