The Chiefs torched the value chart for Nyjalik Kelly, taking him 52 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They banked enough surplus on Rodriguez to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
