Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Packers spent slot 84 on Jude Bowry, a name most had 38 spots down the list.

They banked enough surplus on Nwokobia to cover a lot of smaller sins. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The back end got a real overhaul.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
