The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The Spann-Ford pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Sturdivant at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
