Draft Grade — Bengals

Grand theft in the 110th pick: the Bengals steal Everette and grade out a B-. The rest of the league will want that one back. Daylen Everette tumbling to the Bengals in pick 110 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Jatta has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Sonny Styles
In pick No. 10 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece, reach and all. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick41
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
By-the-book stuff, Caleb Banks at No. 41 squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick72
Rnd3
Kamari Ramsey
Kamari Ramsey in the Round 3 slot is fair value, right on his grade. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick110
Rnd4
Daylen Everette
Steal is underselling it; Daylen Everette at the 110th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick189
Rnd6
Matt Gulbin
A clean, defensible pick in Round 6, Pick 8 with a little surplus value in Matt Gulbin. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick199
Rnd6
Le'Veon Moss
No drama and no debate, Le'Veon Moss went about where he belonged in pick 199. It fills a real need, too.
Pick226
Rnd7
Isaiah Jatta
Isaiah Jatta in the 226th overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
