Good, not great, for the Bears: B. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Dominic Zvada in the 220th overall pick.
That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The McNeil-Warren pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher and quarterback still on the board. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
