Draft Grade — Patriots
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Patriots: B-. There is a lot to like until you notice edge rusher is still a hole. The Patriots never got to the one that mattered most.
The Fields pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The back end got a real overhaul.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Dillon Thieneman
In pick 31 they get a downhill hitter at safety. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick63
Rnd2
Malachi Fields
Malachi Fields in pick No. 63 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick95
Rnd3
Brian Parker II
They paid sticker price for Brian Parker II in Round 3, Pick 31, and that is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
