Draft Grade — Rams
Overall
B

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Rams: B. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Rams did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most.
That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick13
Rnd1
Spencer Fano
In the 13th pick they get an anchor for the offensive line. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick61
Rnd2
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren slid further than he should have, and Round 2, Pick 29 is lovely value for the safety. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick93
Rnd3
Treydan Stukes
By-the-book stuff, Treydan Stukes at the Round 3 slot squarely in line with his ranking. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
