The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Devontez Walker, the No. 146 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 4. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Foster has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Steal is underselling it; Devontez Walker at pick 224 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
