They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Jets' quarterback, full stop.

They are betting Shelby proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Taylor pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Jets indulged a want in Styles while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
