The war room fell hard for Hykeem Williams, and it showed at pick 242: 46 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will answer for taking linebacker early while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots went begging. On value alone, Delp makes the weekend a net positive.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
