More right than wrong for the Bears, and a B to prove it.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Akheem Mesidor at pick 194 is 87 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Brown value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
