The 49ers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 137th overall pick on Princewill Umanmielen a full 75 spots early. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
