Call it larceny. Carson Beck sat on the board until slot 128, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Casey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Kenyon Green leading the way.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
