Somebody took the 49ers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Reaching for Singleton left real value on the table behind him. They banked enough surplus on Moore to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
