Draft Grade — Packers

The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Hunter: B. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Lee Hunter, the No. 48 name on the board, stolen at pick 160.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick52
Rnd2
Arvell Reese
You do not let a linebacker like Arvell Reese reach the Round 2 slot and blink. They did not. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick84
Rnd3
A.J. Haulcy
They will replay A.J. Haulcy at the 84th overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick120
Rnd4
Keionte Scott
Keionte Scott at slot 120 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick160
Rnd5
Lee Hunter
Steal is underselling it; Lee Hunter at pick 160 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick201
Rnd6
Keagen Trost
Keagen Trost at pick No. 201 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick236
Rnd7
Jaren Kanak
Fair-plus on Jaren Kanak, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick255
Rnd7
Kyle Louis
Somehow Kyle Louis was still sitting there in No. 255, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
