The Texans clearly saw something nobody else did in Tanner Mordecai, taking him 58 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Fashanu pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
