Draft Grade — Titans
Overall C
ValueB+ NeedB TradesF FutureA
Best value of the weekend goes to the Titans for Fitzgerald: C.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Bishop Fitzgerald, slot 144, roughly 30 picks past where he belonged. It washes out to a C, no better and no worse.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Every board in the league had Crawford lower, and that gap is the story.

They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

If Avieon Terrell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Avieon Terrell
In pick 26 they get a press-man option on the boundary, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Pick35 Rnd2 Chris Brazzell II
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 2 slot with a little surplus value in Chris Brazzell II. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick46 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
Dillon Thieneman is a better player than Round 2, Pick 14 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick74 Rnd3 Blake Miller
Blake Miller slid further than he should have, and pick No. 74 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick91 Rnd3 Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman at No. 91 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick101 Rnd4 Sam Roush
Value with a capital V on Sam Roush in the 101st pick, a genuine coup. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick106 Rnd4 Brenen Thompson
Taking Brenen Thompson in the 106th overall pick is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. The roster fit checks out.
Pick109 Rnd4 Keyron Crawford
Keyron Crawford at slot 109 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick116 Rnd4 Julian Neal
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Julian Neal in No. 116. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick141 Rnd5 Ar'maj Reed-Adams
A slide stopped in pick 141, with Ar'maj Reed-Adams worth more than the price. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick142 Rnd5 Joe Royer
They barely believed it either: Joe Royer still on the board at Round 5, Pick 2. It fills a real need, too.
Pick144 Rnd5 Bishop Fitzgerald
You do not let a safety like Bishop Fitzgerald reach the Round 5 slot and blink. They did not. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick167 Rnd5 Aaron Graves
A tidy little value on Aaron Graves in the 167th pick, a step better than break-even. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick184 Rnd6 Lander Barton
Lander Barton at pick No. 184 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick210 Rnd6 Sawyer Robertson
Sawyer Robertson at the 210th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
