The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 24 they get juice off the edge, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Denzel Burke at pick No. 62 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Nothing to complain about; Christian Haynes went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Byron Murphy II in the Round 3 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Steal is underselling it; Kiran Amegadjie at the 121st overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Brenden Rice in Round 4, Pick 24 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They took Devin Neal at par in slot 158, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Somehow Dorian Singer was still sitting there in the 240th pick, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Luke Reimer in the Round 7 slot. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
