A sensible, unshowy class lands the 49ers a B-.

The Princewill Umanmielen selection is the head-turner. The 49ers reached 73 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Getting Reese where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
