The trade table was a mismatch, and the 49ers were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The Taylor pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Johnson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
