The Bears went off the board in a big way for Trey Holly, 99 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Slaughter pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
