The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

They will need Walker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
