The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will need Williams to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, with Jayden Daniels leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
