FutureA
The Patriots found their guy under center in Nix: A-. Start where it matters. The Patriots took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
In the end it comes back to Bo Nix, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Bo Nix
In the 14th pick they get the face of the franchise at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick35
Rnd2
Terrion Arnold
A reasonable price with a little left over, Terrion Arnold in No. 35. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick67
Rnd3
Jermaine Burton
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 3 slot with a little surplus value in Jermaine Burton. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
