They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Shedeur Sanders is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Ali falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
