The Browns let McNeil-Warren fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+. Somebody in No. 79 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, the No. 51 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B+.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Davis left real value on the table behind him.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
