A costly weekend of dealing drags the Dolphins to a D.

The Dolphins bet big and early on Roman Hemby, 106 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
