Draft Grade — Giants

More right than wrong for the Giants, and a B- to prove it. Everything else got attention, and interior defensive lineman got none. That is a strange way for the Giants to leave a draft. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
That Ioane pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick5
Rnd1
Spencer Fano
In pick No. 5 they get a building block for the line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick37
Rnd2
Olaivavega Ioane
A tidy bit of business in the 37th pick, where Olaivavega Ioane graded well above the range. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
