Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The cost of the Igbinosun reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

However the rest shakes out, Boston at that price is a win they earned.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
