Nobody dealt better than the Patriots this weekend: B+.

The Patriots spent real capital to be 97 picks early on Kamal Hadden, and the board is going to hold them to it. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The veteran additions, Bernhard Raimann chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
