Nobody else had Bryson Nesbit anywhere near pick No. 224. The Patriots did, by 86 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The veteran additions, Kayvon Thibodeaux chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
