The Patriots won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Xzavier Henderson at No. 238, a reach of 48 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
That Henderson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.
