The Bears went off the board in a big way for Boubacar Traore, 72 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Terrell pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
