The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Micah Morris, 102 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. However the rest shakes out, Daniels at that price is a win they earned.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
