You could see the war room lean forward. Tyren Montgomery at pick No. 216 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The cost of the Taylor reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They went 9 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
