The Cowboys worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Korey Foreman at the Round 5 slot is 189 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Getting Roberts where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They will answer for taking edge rusher early while cornerback, quarterback and other spots went begging. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
