You build a draft on nights like this. Tyreak Sapp had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 32, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
