This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: John Mateer, the No. 19 name on the board, stolen at pick 39. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
