The Eli Cox pick is the one that will follow the Commanders into the fall. They took him 89 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.
