The Giants cashed the board's mistake on Brooks: D.

The Giants lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

They banked enough surplus on Brooks to cover a lot of smaller sins. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

If Porter pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
