The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Roman Wilson fell into pick No. 124. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They will need McLachlan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
