Some picks age like wine; Blake Watson at the 247th pick will need to, sitting 40 spots clear of his grade. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

DeJean at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
