You build a draft on nights like this. Brenden Rice had no business being available in the 124th overall pick, and the Texans did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Reaching for Taylor III left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
