The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Blake Corum fell into the Round 4 slot. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They are betting McLachlan proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
