When a board-topper like Ollie Gordon II slides to pick No. 236, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

With wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
