The Texans went off the board in a big way for Jaheim Bell, 37 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

However the rest shakes out, Gore Jr. at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
